Die Schlümpfe in New York

Ich bin mir noch nicht sicher, was ich davon halten soll … aber eine Neuauflage der Schlümpfe mit Neil Patrick -wait for it- Harris in der Hauptrolle? Das könnte lustig werden! Wenn die Herren nun auch noch Jack Black für Gargamel gecastet hätten, wäre der Film einen Besuch wert gewesen.

"SAMURAI" Proof of Concept Trailer

Jerry O’Flaherty: Proof of concept trailer I created for the film / transmedia franchise SAMURAI. This was a no-budget piece shot in two days with a volunteer cast of five people against a white background and then me doing all the post work in a couple of weeks after that. The background plates were created in the Unreal video game engine with the intent of sharing all of the environment assets (rendered at higher res for the film) between the movie and the game. We only had access to more traditional costumes but the vision is to modernize and re-reinvent the look of the Samurai / Ninja genre for this 3D action epic.

Leider gab es direkt, nachdem das Video bekannt wurde, ein paar urheberrechtliche Probleme, berichtet Uwu Lena auf der offiziellen “Schland o Schland” Webseite schlandrut.de. Ich hoffe, dass sich das alles schnell klärt, denn großartiger geht es echt nicht.

The War of Art Directors

Der Studium-Countdown läuft! Ich nähere mich so langsam dem Abgabetermin meiner Bachelor-Thesis. Da ich bis heute einiges fertig bekommen musste (und auch habe), blieb es auf HAWAIIHEMDEN ROCKEN die letzten Tage etwas ruhiger. Da ihr die meiste Zeit ja sowieso in der Sonne rumhüpft, wird euch das auch nicht sonderlich aufgefallen sein.
